2 week practice :)

hi

my two week practice 

- trees just playing with silhouettes :) first and last lines are copy the mid lines i was playing with mix idea of trees to small plants growing even after it dry out it from my own jasmine had dry and green for little while but now my poor plant dry again from the hot climat not sure if it going to get up again i still water it though :) anyway was just having some fun doing some silhouettes :D

- weapons found good book about real weapons and start with axes i really enjoyed the shapes and see some kind of patterns in it :)

then tried from manga book some swords :)

- art dump trying find my way some system to draw the face and get the proportion for later use if i want my own pose .. also few poses and archers

- portraits studies from (peter xiao) i really like his work so i tried to study some and at the end tried some other color palette was just testing it for skin

- hmm rendering again face still so much to learn unsure about how to get color on my own and the so call edges hard to soft i focused only on the light shadow shapes till my eye start to see the right edges

+ please any advice about what is the key points where the soft to hard edges i see a lot of speed art and coloring tutorial but when come to rendering it just like the artists go autopilot :)

I think about cell shading when searching for shapes of light shadow but when blending I just dont know what to do .. thanks .. going to keep practiceing :)
